VRCO secures capital support from Kinibow Venture Capital
VRCO Limited is pleased to confirm lead investor status to a Kinibow Venture Capital partner for the current seed raise. Kinibow has local network of experienced entrepreneurs and investors which seek out investments that can deliver a measurable positive social impact as well as generating returns.
The placement of funds as part of the seed round will provide their investors with a stake in the business along with associated Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) benefits.
“Chris Lightbody, founding Director of Kinibow said, “we are delighted to have been able to introduce a local source of investment into a local project that not only fits with our social impact ethos, is one that helps develop jobs locally, manufactures a product that will be in high demand overseas and shows the best of British innovation and craftsmanship. The commercials of this investment stack up with risks appropriately defined and mitigated with a good planning and a great team.”
Mike Smith, Chairman at VRCO said, “Kinibow and its network of private investors is exactly the type of partner we want to work with at this stage. They have introduced value beyond just capital with a very local feel, allowing local suitable investors to get access to an opportunity that usually would go straight to the institutions.”
